This is the area where things should be changing the most in the next few weeks. Craig Chandler's antics need to be documented somewhere and the list of his political attempts and actions is a long one.
I guess it is only non-Chandler companies that are expected to prosper on their own merit as opposed to being held up by taxpayers dollars. I wonder if Craig Chandler ever explains this double standard to contributing members of the PGIB? Craig claims to take the contributions from PGIB members and to lobby for small government. His visible lobbying appears to be more for the family business and for larger government spending in reality.
Readers may note that Chandler consistently uses the same list of his followers. We should take comfort in that as perhaps it indicates that his little gang is not growing.
Craig Chandler's attempt to take over the Wildrose Alliance Party board failed and not a single Chandlerite was elected. Chandler then tried to get in through using Mark Dyrholm as a proxy leadership candidate for the party. That failed leadership campaign is worthy of a category of it's own and it will be documented here soon.
This was an interesting episode of Craig Chandler's. Chandler and Crutcher went to Collingwood Ontario a year and some ago to try and pressure the civic government on behalf of Collingwood Ethanol. Chandler approached things with typical class and ran an autodialer to over 15,000 residents of Collingwood attacking their mayor and council as being anti-business.
Chandler's attempt failed and as far as can be seen the PGIB has established no permanent presence in Collingwood. Chandler did managed to annoy locals to the point of them coming out to heckle himself and Crutcher at a public meeting.
The town had fined Collingwood Ethanol for poor environmental practices.
It is well worth nothing that Craig Chandler's father was a principle partner in Collingwood Ethanol at the time.
In other words, Chandler and Crutcher had no interest in the town and simply were lobbying on behalf of Craig's dad.
Here is Chandlers now infamous interview where he told anybody who had recently moved to Alberta that they had best vote his way or they should leave the province.
Note Harley Shouldice wearing a matching lime green shirt with Craig as they work the campaign.
You have to love how the news anchor makes a point to remind everybody that Craig Chandler moved to Alberta from Ontario in the mid-90s.
