Craig Chandler is known for latching his endorsement on to successful campaigns without having been asked. If any of these candidates want to get off of Craig's list, contact this site at chandlerslist@hotmail.ca
Correction: Craig Chandler has contacted me (with the usual threat of lawsuits LOL) to say that he has not endorsed these people. He has merely thanked God in an article in a publication that they are running. I suspect that Craig doesn't quite understand the basis of an endorsement but hey, I am happy to correct.

Mayor:
Ric Mciver
Chandler managed McIver's campaign in 2001 when McIver first got elected to office as an Alderman (a rare Chandler victory). To be fair, McIver appears to have been trying to totally distance himself from Chandler and his followers (do you blame him?). Craig Chandler is thanking God for McIver's mayoral bid for what that is worth.
Ward 4 Alderman
Tommy Low
Tommy Low's campaign is being managed by the established Chandlerite; Harley Shouldice. Shouldice managed Chandler's failed bid to become a Progressive Conservative candidate. Tommy Low was one of the candidates endorsed by Craig Chandler in the Calgary Beacon.
Ward 9 (this week anyway)
Steve Chapman (not exactly as pictured)
Chapman is a well established Chandlerite all on his own. He is a perennial candidate who has lost a multitude of elections (as most Chandlerite campaigns end). Chapman is one of the main organizers in Chandler's front organization; PGIB
Chapman is on his third ward in this race. He began by claiming he was running for Ward 8, then moved to Ward 7 and now apparently is running in Ward 9.
Steve Chapman has responded with the reason that he decided to run in ward 9. His response was:
"And for the record I was never running in Ward 8. The media simply assumed I was. While ward 9 was my first choice I started to run in Ward 7 because Druh Farrell is a terrible alderman and has had zero competition in 9 years. However I withdrew in favour of Kevin Taylor so the vote would not be split in Farrell’s favour." Allow me to respond and provide correct information regarding my affiliation with Mr. Chandler. As a candidate vying for the opportunity to represent each constituent who resides within Ward 12 (Mr. Chandler is in fact a resident of Ward 12), I make every attempt to attend community events, function and fundraisers and to communicate those constituents. My first interaction surrounding Mr. Chandler was while I was attending (and sponsoring) the McKenzie Frenzy event in McKenzie Lake, when I had an interesting discussion about the issues at city hall with a lady who, I later discovered, was Mr. Chandler’s wife. At another event, while speaking with members of the community and discussing issues, I was introduced to Mr. Chandler who expressed appreciation at the fact that I am active in the community, for which he appreciated.
As a candidate for Alderman for Ward 12, I hold, and attend, frequent public fundraising events, some of which Mr. Chandler has chosen to attend. I have been personally assured by Mr. Chandler that neither he, nor PGIB, would endorse any candidate and have not endorsed my candidacy.
Though you have invited requests to be removed from your list, I leave it to you to continue a dialogue with me to decide for yourself of my affiliations and my intent. If you feel our per chance meeting with a Ward 12 resident indicates I should be on your list then we leave that up to you, but, in our view this should be removed. " Thank you Mr. Keating.
According to the Calgary Herald, Ron Dahl (current chairman of Chandler's PGIB) is managing Chapman's campaign.
Ward 12
Al Browne
Al Browne ran against PGIB candidate Art Johnston in what was a bitter nomination race for the Progressive Conservatives. Despite this, Craig Chandler is thanking God that he is running.
Shane Keating
I have found no direct connection between Shane Keating and Craig Chandler or the PGIB. Craig Chandler has thanked God for Keating's run however.

Peter Demong
Note well established Chandlerite David Crutcher behind Demong.
Peter Demong is most definately Craig Chandler's prime candidate in this race. Chandler's tweets and facebook pollution invariably references the work he is doing on Demong's campaign. To elect Peter Demong would simply be to elect Craig Chandler.
